Shaya and Jessica's Descriptive Writing

THE JAPANESE TSUNAMI

A deadly tsunami sounds like the crashing of a car hitting into a steal pole.

The massive earthquake shakes like the rattling of a washing machine jumping up and down.

The murky flood water reminds me of a dirty bath after a game of soccer in the rain.

Crumbling buildings look like tumbling jenga blocks.

Terrifed people remind me of tiny ants running for their lives.

Gooey liquifaction reminds me of sticky Nutella spreading on my toast.

Floating vehicles look like bobbing icebergs in the ocean.
